Job Description
Barilla is looking for anOT Cyber Security Professionalto join ourOT Cyber Securityteam.
The role, based inFrance, will report to theCyber Security OT Manager and willmanage OT cybersecurity solutions and OT networking/architectures in plants, applying Corporate Cyber Security frameworks to projects for new lines and equipment inRegion Western Europe. Moreover, the role will support Technical Area Managers and Project Engineers to comply with guidelines in OT design, protection and maintenance.
Automation systems in Barilla and industrial production environments require to stay up-to-date in terms of cyber defense, in order to mitigate the risk of massive business interruptions.
IT is mandatory to provide the highest level of cybersecurity posture applicable in plants/warehouses/mills, adopting IT Cyber Security solutions/best practices with OT-specific implementation.
In this context, the role will provide specialistic know-how in the initiatives for product and/or packaging innovations, new production lines, factory automation and extraordinary maintenance by interacting with the Project Engineering, Plants, Operations, IT and other Supply Chain units.
The roleis accountable forcoping with analysis, implementing solutions, and guaranteeing corporate technical - technological excellence in compliance with specified standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Preserve Industrial Asset availability and protect business continuity : act as a reference point for Western Europe Plants on cybersecurity topics, leading cybersecurity projects, and supporting plants to comply with Corporate guidelines and industry best practices in OT networking design
- Manage regional cybersecurity topics & integrate with HQ functions, reporting to HQ OT Cybersecurity Manager local initiatives, cybersecurity weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
- Design and implement OT cybersecurity solutions and complex OT networking/systems in plants
- Monitoring OT cybersecurity and cooperating with HQ (IT Plants Security) in managing security events
- Apply Corporate cybersecurity frameworks (by IT/Technical Development) in new automation projects in plant, adapting to specific plant context and needs
- Support plant technical area to comply with Corporate guidelines and industry best practices in OT design, protection and maintenance
- Perform local OT cybersecurity assessments and audits
- Locally deal with cybersecurity/network suppliers and OT suppliers with security impacts
- Support the management of the industrial cybersecurity practice within Supply Chain, in accordance with Barilla cybersecurity strategy
Requirements
- University degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Engineeringor related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas : industrial automation (manufacturing/processing/warehousing), IT/OT networking, IT/OT cybersecurity, IT/OT system integration, industrial networking or Industry 4.0
- Self-empowered managerial approach in daily activities
- Problem solving
- Proven track in managing IT/automation projects in an international context
- Driving results
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English
- Willing to travel (up to 50%) : frequent trips to plants and warehouses in France and abroad
