Les missions du poste
Job Purpose :
The project engineer/business manager is responsible for managing and supervising technical projects to ensure they are properly sized and completed within the planned time and budget, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Nature and Challenges of Work Relationships :
Internal :
- Works based on information and priorities provided by the Business Development Director
- Provides technical support to field sales representatives
- Collaborates with various departments within the company (Design Office, Operations Service, Sales Administration, Finance Department, and Manufacturing Workshop)
- Coordinates with other Project Engineers/Business Managers in European subsidiaries
External :
- European clients
- Suppliers : Occasionally for technical solution searches and price inquiries
Main Activities :
- Project study/sizing of solutions/quoting according to specifications and client needs
- Conducting tests of proposed solutions on client samples
- Following up on offers and opportunities with clients and field sales representatives
- Client negotiation
- Project and business management : managing the transmission of technical information with the design office
- Planning and monitoring production in the manufacturing workshop
- Apply standards, select design methods in line with specifications, and communicate across departments.
- Prospecting new markets
- Developing new products related to completed client solutions (design, testing, technical support)
- Requirements :
Technical Skills :
- Basic knowledge of CAD software.
- Proficiency in English and French.
- Experience in areas such as project and business management, continuous improvement, robotics, material handling, or product development.
- Ability to perform vacuum sizing calculations, implement technical solutions, and select options to meet client needs.
- Competence in tracking offers, drafting test reports, and leading meetings.
- Experience in 2D and 3D design, developing solutions from specifications, and creating detailed and assembly plans is a plus.

- Technical training (minimum Bac +2 BTS to Bac +5 engineer).

Compétences : Cadre réglementaire environnemental, Négocier des solutions techniques ou financières avec un client, Recueillir et analyser les besoins client
Langues : Anglais exigé
Permis : B - Véhicule léger souhaité
