Diverse and operational missions
The Risk and Insurance Department, a center of expertise and management of contractual risks and insurance for the Bouygues Construction Group (France and International), is looking for a Construction Risk and Insurance Manager.
As part of a team of around fifteen people, you will support the operational entities with all their contractual risk and insurance issues, at all stages of a project or construction operation : from the commercial phase, through the construction phase, and after delivery.
As such, your main responsibilities are as follows :
You implement and adapt guarantees :
- Insurance clauses of contracts
- Identification and analysis of project risks
- Transfer of risks to the insurance market or to third parties
- Monitoring of insurance budgets
You will provide support in claims management by working with brokers and other service providers (experts, lawyers...) :
- Management of major claims (reporting, file creation, monitoring expertise and validation of judicial statements if necessary, monitoring of accounting compensation...)
- Monitoring claim statistics with brokers and insurers
- Analysis and feedback on the causes of claims
- Participation in the development of prevention procedures
You interact with multiple internal (Commerce, Legal, Finance, Project Management, Construction, After-Sales Service...) and external (Brokers, Insurers, Experts, Lawyers...) stakeholders.
The profile sought
Higher education (Faculty of Law, Management or Economics, Business School, Insurance School, or Specialized Master's).
First experience within a Risk Insurance Department, Legal Department, Insurance Company, or Insurance Brokerage Company.
You have adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all stakeholders.
Listening skills, initiative, rigor, and responsiveness are also assets for success in this position.
An excellent level of English is required, as well as strong cultural openness, as your role will involve regular interactions with our entities abroad.
