Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?
You will join the Central Marketing & Development team of Saint-Gobain, one of the world's largest building materials companies, working closely with the Product & Offer team from one of the 3 markets (Insulation & Gypsum, Building Glass or Mortars & Construction Chemicals).
You will report to the Market Intelligence Manager and work with a multicultural team.
Your deliveries will help us to understand the construction markets we are operating, identify the trends and will contribute to taking strategic decisions, at the global and country levels.
Essential functions
- Market and Competitive Watch :
Select relevant information and articles using a monitoring platform for publication within the company on our multiple media (newsletter, mapping, ID card, market review).
Identify keys competitors or customers' movements, market trends for enriching our knowledge and leveraging market insights within your category.
Maintain, qualify and develop our competitive news file, collected from the watch platform, including financial analysis from our competitors' annual review.
Create dashboards using data visualizations and impactful metrics.
Produce SWOT analysis and executive summary to deliver key messages to your teams.
- Market Research and Analysis :
Participate in qualitative and quantitative market research
Assist in ad hoc strategic studies and internal market research projects
Collect, structure, analyze and synthetize data, information to provide comprehensive analyses of the market and the different players
- Co-animate the market intelligence community :
Co-animating the Market Intelligence Community through publications, virtual events (webinars) and internal presentations.
Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?
Education and experience
You study in a business school, European university (Bac +4 or +5) or you extend your engineering school training
Any experience either in building markets, in market intelligence, in strategy or in marketing is preferable
Skills
Fluency in English is mandatory, and French is appreciated both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook); experience of BI tools (Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense) is a plus
Agility for collecting and manipulating data (structured or not), in a pragmatic way
Strong ability to structure, analyze data and synthesize information
Interest in industrial sectors is welcome

Capability for organizing, managing and prioritizing several tasks at the same time and of working in autonomy and transparency
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
