A Corporate Process Engineer, to act within Global Engineering. Your role will BE to represent Global Engineering in strategic projects and together with local project Lead Engineers set design strategies and deliverables, act for standardization and to assure functionality and feasibility by using best practice in design. Part of your role will BE to establish standardization in technical design solution.

You will collaborate with various corporate functions, local engineering department and project teams as well as external process suppliers to ensure alignment with company requirements for capacity, efficiency, and operational excellence.

The position can BE based in Vienna (Austria), Stockholm (Sweden), Lingolsheim (France) or Springe (Germany).

Your main responsibilities and opportunities
- Representing Global Engineering in an Engineering leading role of the local investment project design teams.
- Collaborate with local project Lead Engineers to assure deliverables for engineering and process design
- Establishing and Review of design requirements
- Planning and developing of process units and systems including layouts and functional flows.
- Establishment and Review of project descriptions and process flow diagrams.
- Coordination of design engineers of process equipment.
- Responsible for implementation of Octapharma engineering concepts and standard into projects.
- Reviewing calculations, design and specification of all necessary equipment and systems.
- Comparisons of technical and commercial solutions
- Responsible for cGMP level of suggested solutions and documentation
- Responsible for corporate PID lead sheeting and naming convention
- Collaborate with the other corporate functions and local engineering to define the strategic development of the design solutions and standards to support company requirements for capacity, efficiency etc.
- Support the transfer of the standards to the local sites as well as continued participation in further development.
- Act towards the whole organization as internal consulting/advisory/expert role within area of expertise.

The position will BE placed within the Corporate Engineering Organization with a direct report to Head of cTO.

Your Profile
- University degree in the technical field (e.g. Chemical or Process Engineering or similar education)
- Longer, 5 to 10 years, documented experience in process design basic engineering within pharmaceutical industry
- Deep knowledge in wet bulk production preferably from plasma industry.
- Experiences in calculations and dimensioning of fluid systems
- Skills in development Process Flow Diagrams in AutoCAD and preferable coarse layout planning in 2D/3D
- Understanding and experienced in Engineering Development Models and establishment of related design documents.
- Ability to both act independently and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of plant core functional systems and particularly pharmaceutical unit operations such as Chromatography, Ultra- / Dia- / Nanofiltration, various filtration technologies.

Additional information :

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 3.909,67. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed. This is a legal requirement in Austria which is not applicable for other sites.
