F&B Media Manager for Europe
ABOUT THE JOB
Within the European Region composed of +15 markets and reporting into the Europe Media Director 3 Divisions (Fragrance & Beauty, Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewelry), the Media Manager focuses on Fragrance and Beauty media activity while contributing to define and pilot the European media framework for the Region.
He/she is in charge of cross functional topics of the department such as Media partners, agency teams lead at EU level or any other tactical topics that may fuel our vision.
He/she is the main contact of Markets Media teams and Global Media teams but also has a key role in the region towards internal stakeholders (client marketing, CRM, finance etc).
He/She has a strong link with business stakes and is able to connect touchpoints to optimize the client journey in a communication perspective.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
- Thanks to an analytical mind and solid media skills, you define the 3 year media strategy for the region on F&B ensuring you match business, marketing and Brand Equity objectives.
- Based on regular media market and competitors analysis, you contribute to define the yearly European media strategy (Annual Media principles) and in collaboration with marketing teams - 360° orchestration needed to achieve the Regional objectives. (alignment, budget guidelines & marketing plan)
- Based on global strategy from Division, you review and challenge local media strategies to ensure the achievement of the Regional objectives while optimizing the best 360 activations in collaboration with EU marketing teams and other expertise if relevant.
- Aligned with the global guidelines, you define the media objectives by campaign and coordinate its orchestration (investments, media mix) with markets in a holistic approach (integrating Ecom - traffic acquisition/influence when needed)
- You analyse each campaign performances and provide key learnings and strategic recommendations in collaboration with European agency and marketing teams to ensure consistency with business and Brand objectives.
- Media community animation : you organize and lead key meetings with markets to share relevant information, align on European strategies, share best practices and work on specific prospective topics - for the Fragrance & Beauty in the media department.
- Media partners lead : you ensure best deliverables from our media agency teams at LMM for EU as well as ensuring governance of our media partners to deliver best in class activations Fragrance & Beauty.
- Behaving as an ambassador, you also ensure the visibility of our European activities with our counterparts/stakeholders when needed (corporate teams, marketing teams, France teams etc).
- At last you bring your strategic and expert point of view in our day to day work to elevate our perspective and constantly innovate making sure that all our media activities are connected with the current landscape and the Brand needs.
- You manage one intern to assist with operational coordination.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- You have > 7 years of experience in media in a company or an agency - global or regional role preferred
- You have solid skills in driving communities, convincing audiences by defending various points of views
- You have a great understanding of the landscapes and what is at stakes for media
- You are learning / KPI-driven mindset
- Your relational skills and enthusiasm to embark and federate multiple stakeholders transversally around various projects
- Fluent in French & English and MS Pack Office knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
