Senior Buyer - Offshore Wind H/F - ABYSS ENERGY

Seniority : Between 10 and 25 years of experience

Job Purpose : Procurement activities (Packages, Services, others)

Activity 1 : Sourcing, Procurement of Direct and Indirect products or services
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business goals and ensure compliance with processes ;
- Source Suppliers on the market with profiles in line with business needs ;
- Manage pre-qualification process and final evaluation in cooperation with the contract owner ;
- Ad hoc Travels to identify potential suppliers (Worlwide) ;
- Prepare and Manage the RFP/RFQ (request for Proposal/Quotation) process.

Activity 2 : Contracts : from Negotiation to Contracting Agreement
- Set out contracts with support from Legal Department and the requesting internal party from within the organization
- Contracts shall be fully compliant to support the business needs which are legally binding ;
- Mitigate all commercial risks and drive appropriate supplier performance through effective KPIs ;
- Liaise with all departments to provide all necessary support and information basis on the historical cost data to optimize the procurement process and to develop and review to support ontechnical scope definition and commercial expectations ;
- Ad hoc Travels to finalize negotiations & contractualization (Worlwide).

Activity 3 : Internal Coordination and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process
- Ad hoc involvement to support deployment of new P2P process within the organization.

Activity 4 : Suppliers Claims
- Ad hoc involvement to support on-going & future Claims until final resolution with external & internal stakeholders ;
- Centralize and list all claims and disputes arising from projects under construction during PER (Project Execution Review) ;
- Preventative Claim by proposing preventive solutions to Contract Management issues during PER ;
- Following PER, inform or contact the relevant head office departments for analysis ;
- Standardize support / reports on general contractual issues or contract claims in order to improve PER issues and its communication withinpackages and to other departments or packages.
