The JuniorSoftware Engineer (Python/GO) Role

Step into the evolving world of AI and cloud data at Qlik as a Junior Software Engineer working with Python or GO. Based in Suresnes or Nantes (hybrid), you'll join the Data Governance & AI Team, a forward-thinking group responsible for building an agentic ecosystem at the core of Qlik's cloud-based data governance product.

In this hands-on role, you won't just build simple features or prototypes, you'll BE part of a team developing intelligent agents designed for real-world use in a production SaaS platform.

From day one, you'll BE working on meaningful projects using modern tools and techniques across cloud, data, and AI.

- Build meaningful AI features : Contribute to the design and development of autonomous agents using Python or GO within Qlik's next-gen data governance platform.
- Apply LLMs in real use cases : Work with cutting-edge technologies like LangChain and LLMs, helping turn concepts like prompt orchestration and modular planning into working solutions.
- Grow your software craftsmanship : Write clean, maintainable code, backed by appropriate testing and documentation, while following modern development practices (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

We're looking for a teammate with :
- A minimum of 2 years of Python or GO development experience.
- Experience building with LLMs or using frameworks like LangChain is appreciated.
- Knowledge in Git and standard development process.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- A team player with experience or a strong interest in working in a distributed and international agile team environment.
