Notre client fournit des fixations métalliques (pièces embouties et pièces obtenues par frappe à froid) aux principaux constructeurs automobiles européens (Renault, VW, PSA, BMW, Daimler, Ford, Audi et FIAT) ainsi qu'à leurs sous-traitants, pour un chiffre d'affaires d'environ 120 M$.Job Description :
The Account Manager will report to the Sales Manager.
The position requires travelling.
- Manage Project Planning (APQP, feasibility, homologation follow up)
- Engineering concept verification at own account
- Support quality issues with customer (design related)
- Have technical contact to the customer
- Working closely with senior leadership and operations; leverage local market knowledge to focus on growing core products and introduce new ones applying an outside in discipline with meaningful $/Car, value proposition and a sustainable differentiation.
- Nurtures customer relationships that provide insight and a landscape where our client has a competitive advantage through our cradle to grave relationships.
- Communicate with other accounts and innovation team

Position Skills and Experience Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree - in Business or Engineering, preferred.
- Fluency in English, French AND GERMAN.
- Relevant experience in engineering management and/or project management will BE strongly valued.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is highly valued.
- Proven track record of projected innovative diversified products is desired (APQP).
- Product Cost analysis experience is a plus (Calculation, Cost Break Down).
- Able to identify pain points at customers and convert these into opportunities to sell differentiated value-added solutions.
- Able to build and maintain constructive and long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Proven ability to manage complexity and change.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote region.
- Personally data driven and motivate others to Excel.
