Lesaffre achieves a turnover of 3 billion Euros.Part of the Analytical Science and Discovery team, proteomics is a recently established activity. With a view of activity growth, we are looking for a scientist (PhD) specialized in proteomics. You will report to the Head of Metabolomics/Proteomics Operations and contribute to the success of R&D projects through the proteome/peptidome characterization necessary for the development of new processes and new products.
The successful candidate will BE responsible for developing, adapting and applying proteomics workflows to various projects from study design, sample preparation, LC-MSMS analyses, to data processing and interpretation, as well as proteomics results presentation. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate with solid technical and organizational skills, coupled with a strong collaborative spirit.
Responsabilities
- Define, plan and perform experiments : sample preparation, LC-MS/MS method setting for data acquisition, data treatment and interpretation with results validation
- Organize and manage research data using an electronic laboratory notebook.
- Respect deadlines, demonstrate scientific initiative by revising and adapting experiments based on the requests and expected results.
- Responsible for equipment management (implementation, maintenance, follow-up procedures)
- Propose and implement new innovative technologies/methodologies, improving proteomic current workflows and throughput via automation
- Communicate the results, report on your activity and participate in the alignment of experimental activities and project needs.
- Contribute to the general organizational tasks of the laboratory such as the inventory of consumables, functional control of equipment, etc.
- Contribution to information sharing and communication within the analytical team as well as the various interdisciplinary project-based groups.
Le profil recherché
