We have dedicated NES Life Science recruitment hubs in Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, China, Australia and the UK and following our purchase of US Life Science specialists Redbock in 2018 we are proud to BE one of the biggest Life Science staffing providers globally.Within the Procurement / Projects / Inspection / Public Relations Division of the refinery, you will BE part of the Projects Group, made up of 10 people, including 3 Project Managers.
Involved from the project development phase, your role will BE to plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of refinery projects. You will act as a central liaison between internal teams, external service providers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting deadlines, budget constraints, and quality and safety objectives.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- Participating in the project development phase carried out by technical teams
- Monitoring financial commitments and controlling costs against allocated budgets
- Managing the schedule through to the end of construction
- Appointing external engineering firms for detailed studies and ensuring their follow-up
- Issuing equipment and material consultation requests
- Launching construction work consultations
- Overseeing construction via subcontracted construction supervisors
- Ensuring the quality and ergonomics of installations in coordination with the operational representative
Le profil recherché
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Holder of an engineering degree in chemical or petrochemical engineering (or equivalent), with at least 10 years of experience in project management in construction or engineering firms.
Your skills and knowledge :
- Good knowledge of piping, civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation construction
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies
- Budget monitoring and cost control skills
- English proficiency is a plus
