Purpose
- Ensure the procurement of cheeses for the Group's factories, excluding the USA.
- Actively contribute to optimizing the valorization of surplus milk available at the Group level.
- Negotiate, within the framework of the Group's Purchasing Policy, the best quality/delivery/price ratio based on the needs expressed by user sites.
- Ensure that the purchased raw materials comply with the requirements of the Quality Specifications.
- Constantly strive for a diversified and balanced sourcing strategy (distribution of purchases among various suppliers and geographies) that is both secure (in terms of quality and quantity).
- Work closely with the supply chain to secure supplies amid significant demand fluctuations.
- Propose budget prices for the different raw materials in the portfolio (budget and budget revisions).
- Respond to requests from the various Cheese Melting and Dairy Development teams.
- Investigate and resolve quality anomalies and volume discrepancies (deliveries vs. orders).
- Provide regular reporting to the department's management.

Main Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses of supplier markets, anticipate short-term developments, and develop a long-term vision using tools such as information from professional organizations, suppliers, and competitors, as well as professional publications, press reviews, search engines, and websites.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate all terms of contracts in line with the Group Purchasing Policy.
- Manage the supplier panel (balanced sourcing by production zones and user sites).
- Oversee necessary supplier approvals.
- Develop expertise in product families and markets within the scope of responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with the Production and Development teams to clearly identify needs, challenge specifications, and propose innovative cost-reduction solutions.
- Actively participate in the internal utilization of cheeses produced by the Group (including downgraded products) and optimize B2B flow management; facilitate the ICO (Inter-Company) committee.
- Ensure the quality of purchased raw materials.
- Select suppliers for audits and conduct audits jointly with the quality auditor.
- Contribute to effective stock management (aligned with Group rules).
- Actively participate in the Group's CSR Policy.

Required Knowledge and Skills

1) Minimum Education Level and/or Required Professional Experience :
- Bac +4 (equivalent to a Master's degree or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or procurement.

2) Key Skills :
- Analytical capabilities and strategic reasoning.
- Ability to synthesize and summarize information.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and project management.
- International mindset.

3) Technical Skills :
- Market and supplier analysis.
- Product knowledge.
- Proven experience in defining and managing a procurement portfolio.
- Proficiency with IT tools (Excel, Word); ability to extract and analyze data from SAP or external information sources.
- Fluency in English (working language is mandatory).
