Overview

To support our ambitious BI program in the context of an accelerated digitalization, we are hiring a strong BI Leader with a strong knowledge of SAP environment, SQL and PowerBI, to lead the delivery of our program and make a step change in the usage of BI through powerful and agile data visualization.

Job Summary :Our BI Technical Leader is responsible for overseeing the technical BI architecture, leading our BI projects, and managing our team of technico-functional and developers in SQL and PowerBI. This role requires strong expertise in BI concepts and platforms, SAP modules and tables, SAP S/4, SQL developments, and PowerBI which are our current Management BI solutions. The BI Technical Leader will ensure the successful delivery of BI solutions that meet business requirements and drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :
- Business relationship : Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Technical Architecture :Design, implement, and maintain the technical architecture for BI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Project Leadership :Lead BI projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- BI Platforms :Utilize strong expertise in BI platforms to develop and deploy effective BI solutions, including effective Data Visualization tools and approaches. Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and trends.
- Team Management :Manage and mentor a team of BI developers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure quality and fast developments of the Data Products. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Quality Assurance :Implement best practices for data quality, validation, and governance. Conduct regular reviews and testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
- Documentation :Ensure the team maintains comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15 years + experience
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Sales, Supply BI needs.
- Proven experience in BI technical leadership and architecture of modern data platform
- Very high mastery of SQL, BI concept and development methodologies, and PowerBI
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules and tables that are our main sources of data
- Experience in managing and mentoring development teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent French and English are a Must
