We are looking for an experienced ICSS Engineer (Instrumentation, Control & Safety Systems) to join our client's engineering team in Paris for the Commonwealth LNG project.

This is a long term freelance assignment, focusing on the design, development, integration, and validation of control systems during the engineering phase of a major LNG development.

Key Responsibilities :
- Review and validation of P&IDs and interdisciplinary documentation
- Drafting of technical specifications for DCS/SIS systems
- Development of ICSS architectures and detailed functional specifications (control narratives, logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices)
- Preparation and verification of I&C data sheets
- Review of vendor documentation and support in vendor selection through technical bid evaluations
- Material take-off and preparation of material requisitions
- Coordination with 3D model designers and electrical teams for routing, hook-ups, and interface design
- Preparation of layouts for control rooms, racks, junction boxes, and instrumentation
- Development of technical safety documents including safeguarding narratives and safety system logic
- Understanding and application of CCTV and Pipeline Leak Monitoring Systems (PLMS) - Support for FAT/SAT activities and field testing during system commissioning
- Participation in HAZOP reviews and installation validation activities

Required Profile :
- Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in ICSS/Instrumentation Engineering within the Oil & Gas/LNG sector
- Proven track record with major EPCs or operators, ideally in an LNG context
- Experience with DCS/SIS/PLC systems from major vendors (e.g., Honeywell, ABB, Emerson, Schneider)
- Familiarity with relevant international standards (IEC, ISA, ATEX, etc.)
- Prior experience with Technip Energies or TotalEnergies is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
