Microsoft Windows 365 has been chosen by our client for cloud-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), we are currently working on the migration from Citrix VDI to W365 cloud PC.

Objectifs et livrables:

Role Summary:

Responsible for planning, executing, and supporting the migration of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments from Citrix to Microsoft Windows 365. Ensures minimal disruption to end users and maintains security, performance, and compliance standards throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess existing Citrix infrastructure and identify dependencies, configurations, and user profiles.
- Inventory the needs with the customer for the existing Citrix profiles on what is really needed (start clean)
- Design and implement provisioning policies for Windows 365 Cloud PCs and aligning with our client's security protocols.
- Monitor policy compliance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
- Perform migrations and validate performance, compatibility, and user experience.
- Create detailed documentation for new processes, including step-by-step guides, flowcharts, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application compatibility, user access, and performance.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and support teams to ensure a seamless transition.
- Document migration processes, configurations, and creation of knowledge articles (tool: SNOW).
- Design and help configure workflows within SNOW to support the implementation of the process for W365 ( BYOD,CITRIX...)
