Biocodex is a French family-owned pharmaceutical company headquartered in Gentilly, near Paris, France. The company was founded in 1953 to develop and market the world's first probiotic yeast strain, Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745®, discovered in 1923.

Building on relationships established for nearly 70 years with healthcare professionals, the Biocodex teams work daily for the health of all and focus their activities around three main areas: Microbiota, Orphan diseases, Women's health.

With more than 1,800 employees, Biocodex generated net revenues of above €634 million in 2024, including 32% in France and 68% internationally. The group is present in more than 100 countries through wholly owned subsidiaries in 17 countries and a network of distributors worldwide.The Regional Category Lead (RCL) is responsible for driving regional marketing execution across countries where Biocodex operates through partnerships. In markets with direct operations, the RCL supports the local Heads of Marketing and their teams in Biocodex subsidiaries. Acting as a strategic partner to both external partners and internal teams, the RCL ensures excellence in brand execution and maximizes local market impact by applying state-of-the-art marketing standards.

Marketing strategy execution is based on two pillars:

- HCP-driven (Healthcare Professionals): Engagement and activation of medical communities through scientific, educational, and medico-marketing initiatives.
- DTC-driven (Direct-to-Consumer): Empowerment and activation of consumers through omnichannel communication strategies, including TV, digital engagement, and e-commerce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategic Marketing

- Develop and implement the regional marketing strategy aligned with Biocodex's global priorities, ensuring strong HCP and DTC execution.
- Build and lead the annual regional marketing plan, including communication strategy, KOL engagement, omnichannel and e-commerce roadmaps, and resource allocation.
- Continuously monitor market dynamics (competition, trends, customer behaviors) and provide actionable insights.
- Advise the Region and Global teams on regional events and campaign deployment strategies.

Operational Marketing Excellence

- Drive impactful communication of marketing strategies to partners and provide support to subsidiaries via seminars and Business Reviews.
- Ensure flawless execution of HCP and DTC-driven plans through partners and in collaboration with subsidiaries.
- Review and challenge local marketing plans; provide strategic recommendations to optimize brand growth and optimize ROI.
- Monitor brand performance through KPIs (market share, ROI, customer engagement metrics) to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Guarantee ROI optimization to enable data-driven decision making.
- Produce and adapt marketing content in collaboration with regional and global teams.

Cross-functional and Partner Engagement

- Deploy global initiatives (tools, best practices, key projects) across all countries in the region.
- Provide relevant category insights to nourish the global strategy and key projects.
- Mobilize internal expertise (Cx, Marketing, Medical, Digital, Trade) to reinforce execution excellence.
- Coordinate medico-marketing events (symposia, congresses, seminars, training) with both partners and subsidiaries.

Regional Team Contribution

- Contribute marketing expertise to Business Reviews and regional strategic discussions.
- Define, manage, and monitor the regional marketing budget with strategic rigor.

Le profil recherché

Profile

- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences (with additional business qualifications).
- At least 5 years' experience in marketing and/or business positions.
- Proven experience in operational marketing.
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical sector experience highly preferred.
- Experience in digital marketing is an asset.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
