Part of Saint-Gobain Construction Fabrics Performance Segment, the Market Intelligence Manager will play a key role in providing strategic market insights and actionable recommendations on business growth opportunities for our teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Market and Competitor Analysis:
Gather, organize and analyze market data
Track industry trends to influence strategic decisions.
Regularly review and analyze information from markets and competitors to assess market conditions and identify potential business opportunities or threats.
Market studies:
Conduct market research on target market segments and countries.
Lead new market/applications study in collaboration with our BU/regions teams.
For on-demand ad-hoc market studies, guide our teams in scoping, brief elaboration, external agencies selection, and market sturdy delivery for optimized recommendations.
Share outcomes and conclusions to internal stakeholders to ensure best practice sharing.
Budget & Strategic Plan Support:
Lead the preparation, support, and review of market data for budget and plan, in alignment with the other Performance segments and the Group.
Monitor and provide regular updates on trends throughout the year.
Provide guidance and support in the development of business & marketing strategies.
Marketing intelligence tools and processes:
Work closely with IT to contribute to improving efficiency and user experience of our marketing intelligence tools.
Provide dedicated training to our teams with new market data / tools available to them.
Central management of Master Data on Customers/Products perimeters with the animation of a community of regional data owners (PM, sales in the regions) for alignment, cleaning and enhancing usage of data.
Legal and EU affairs:
Support the team in anti-dumping procedures, export controls.

Education:
Master's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience, in positions as a Business Analyst, Market studies, Finance.
Experience in market research, data analysis, competitive intelligence.
Knowledge of construction markets and B2B industrial companies is a plus.
Skills and Qualities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in data visualization tools, like MicroStrategy and Power BI.
Capacity to deal with granular data levels for analysis.
Proactive, able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Ability to navigate in a complex environment and offer clear, data-backed recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent English.
