Salomon is headquartered in Annecy, France.As an IT Solution Architect (PDM/PLM) M/W, you will design and guide the technical architecture of our Product Data Management platform for Winter Sports Operations, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems.
What you will be doing
- Design and maintain the overall technical architecture for PDM/PLM and its integration with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems.
- Define integration strategies and standards (APIs, ETL pipelines, workflows, data governance).
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the PDM/PLM landscape in line with IT policies and compliance frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance to development, vendor, and project teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to validate the technical feasibility of roadmap priorities and ensure alignment with available budget and resources.
- Support Project Managers by identifying technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation measures.
- Contribute to migration and modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud, hybrid architectures).
- Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry standards, tools, and best practices to keep the architecture future-ready.
Le profil recherché
Essential Skills & Experiences
- 5+ years of experience in IT architecture or system integration, ideally with exposure to PDM/PLM platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill, Aras, ENOVIA, or similar).
- Strong expertise in enterprise integration (APIs, middleware, ETL, microservices).
- Solid understanding of ERP, CAD, and MES integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud and hybrid architectures is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, IT teams, and vendors.
Desired Qualifications
- Education:University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications:Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure, Integration frameworks) are a plus.
- Languages:Fluent in English; French proficiency is a strong plus.
