Join us as our new Senior Scientist - Tech Support - Fresh Dairy (m/f)
As part of an organizational change, and in order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Application Manager - Technical Support, with solid expertise in the field of fresh dairy products, particularly mesophilic applications such as kefir, butter, sour cream, their manufacturing processes, product characteristics, etc.
Welcome to the Fresh Dairy Products Team
You will join the Fresh Dairy France team, which is one of the 5 teams within the Fresh Dairy department, comprising more than 60 employees based in Denmark, France, the United States, and China. We are part of the Applied R&D Dairy organization of the Food & Beverage Biosolutions Business Unit dedicated to the food industry.
Based in Arpajon (91) south of Paris, where one of our Application centers is located, our team has a global role and collaborates with R&D, Commercial and Marketing organizations, as well as our clients worldwide.
The team today consists of 8 scientists, 1 team leader for Technicians, and 7 technicians. Our team is organized into two groups, which handle New Product Development Projects on one hand and Technical Support on the other, and they work closely together. We are passionate about what we do. We are experts in our fields, and we are always eager to learn, deepen our knowledge, and understand. We enjoy taking on challenges. In this role you'll make an impact by:

Providing Technical Support for fresh dairy product applications and assisting clients worldwide with problem-solving, the formulation of new dairy products, the reformulation of existing dairy products, production line optimization, and the analysis of client samples (counting, texture, etc.).

Developing fresh dairy product prototypes demonstrating the performance of Novonesis cultures and enzyme bio-solutions.

Creating technical material (presentations, training sessions...), digital support tools, and providing training to our clients and colleagues.

Acting as a partner for Production and Marketing regarding the quality of our bio-solution crops and Novonesis enzymes.
Le profil recherché
To succeed you must hold:
*
PhD, engineering degree, or equivalent, in biotechnology or food science and technology
*
Previous industrial experience in biotechnology or the agri-food industry, preferably having worked with enzymes, lactic acid bacteria, and/or dairy ingredients
*
Strong knowledge of fresh dairy products, particularly mesophilic ones, and dairy technologies (chemistry, microbiology, manufacturing processes...)
*
Aptitude and inclination for working directly with clients in an international environment
*
Responsiveness, flexibility, creativity, curiosity, and eagerness to learn
*
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
