Join PPG and Lead HR Strategy for High-Profile Global Businesses!

We are seeking an accomplished Regional EMEA HR Business Partner (HRBP) for our high-performing Aerospace (AERO) and Protective Marine Coatings (PMC) businesses. This pivotal role offers high visibility, autonomy, and a clear path for career progression within the HR organisation. You will guide talent management, engagement, and organisational effectiveness across the largest region for PMC.

This is an investment role for the right person, viewed as a potential successor to the current Global HRBP or for other significant roles.

What this role offers you:

- High Visibility & Autonomy: Work with high-profile General Managers (GMs) in small, focused organisations, gaining visibility to the Operating Committee and EMEA leadership. You will be autonomous, with the manager there to support, not micromanage.

- Support Growth & Transformation: Partner with AERO, which is the highest growth rate business in the company, to support major growth initiatives.

- Clear Career Pathway: This is seen as a strategic role with a "pretty clear pathway" for progression and opportunity within the HRBP function.

- Strategic Focus: Lead critical, high-impact areas like sales incentive design, talent assessment mechanics, and succession planning.

Your key responsabilities

The role requires a strategic and operational approach, with an expected even split between AERO and PMC.

Organisation Development & Effectiveness

· Design and optimise organisational structures to align with strategy and cost objectives.

· Lead and measure the impact of change management initiatives.

· Drive staffing strategies to build required capabilities.

Workforce Planning

· Streamline the organisation through restructuring.

· Develop headcount (HC) forecasts aligned with business initiatives.

· Ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.

Capability Building & Talent

· Coach leaders on performance management and talent decisions.

· Drive talent development and engagement initiatives. Talent assessment mechanics are particularly valuable.

· Support strategic hiring and executive onboarding.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

· Enhance Commercial Excellence capabilities and sales incentives. Experience in sales incentive design, plan design, or changes to payment/pay frequency is a key focus area.

· Strengthen operational effectiveness within business functions.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree would be appreciated.
- 8+ years of proven experience in similar HR leadership roles within industrial manufacturing, covering all HR functions (business partnering, talent, labour relations).
- 5+ years leading HR for a large-scale region or division in a complex organisation.
- Total fluency in English is absolutely essential to effectively manage the business context and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Experience in high-growth markets is valued, demonstrating a skill set beyond solely cost reduction

Work Model:

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be based near a PPG site anywhere in EMEA (e.g., UK, Spain, Poland are possibilities). A decent amount of travel is anticipated, particularly initially, to ensure engagement with both AERO and PMC teams.
