Join us on this journey!We're looking for a motivated and analytical Commercial Finance Assistant Manager (Maternity Cover 7-9 months) to join our team, with a focus on marketing spend and cost of sales. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, support strategic decision-making, and help drive financial performance across key commercial areas.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Marketing Investments: Drive the analysis and tracking of a substantial marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation to maximize ROI and drive brand growth.
- Financial Planning Cycles: Support forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close activities with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
- Business Case Support: Contribute to financial inputs for key initiatives such as marketing spend efficiency, product launches.
- Analytics & Dashboard Development: Support the design and enhancement of financial dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility, automation, and decision-making across key commercial metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Trade, and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations, translating data into actionable insights for leadership.
- Team Contribution: Collaborate within the finance team, share best practices, and support a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and support audit readiness through accurate documentation and process discipline.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; Master's/CPA/CFA preferred.
- 3+ years of finance experience, ideally in FMCG, retail, or other fast-paced industries.
- Proficient in SAP or ERP systems, with strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
- Skilled in data visualization, dashboard creation, and report automation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; fluent in English (French a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently under pressure.
- Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to growth and innovation.
