The QSSE Terminals & Inland division is part of an independent QSSE support department that assists the Group's onshore assets in improving their practices related to quality, health, safety, and the environment. It is therefore both an operational and technical environment.

The intern will assist the Environmental Officer in the continuous improvement of the environmental culture and standards of land-based assets. The main tasks will be to formalize the GHG Report for management and the carbon footprints of land-based assets within the scope. The intern will also be involved in developing decarbonization trajectories for each of our assets.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Specifically:

- Take charge of producing the greenhouse gas emissions report for Terminals and Inland Assets. This involves:

- Providing support in monitoring environmental reporting for sites (data quality and reporting deadlines).
- Providing support to the operational team in analyzing inconsistencies and determining the actions to be taken.

- Supporting the Environmental Officer in defining decarbonization trajectories for Terminals and Inland Assets. This involves:

- Providing support in identifying decarbonization projects by site according to the three criteria [type of project / feasibility / costs]
- Providing support on departmental news relating to environmental issues (decarbonization, water management, waste management, etc.)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

- You are currently enrolled in an engineering program in the field of environment, energy, or decarbonization. Ideally, you have some initial experience in the field.

You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. You have a basic understanding of data analysis (cross-tabulation, graphs, indicators), carbon accounting (methodology and emissions calculations) and CSRD Environment standards.

Thanks to your interpersonal and communication skills, you are able to summarize and simplify scientific vocabulary, write clear technical requirements and document processes.

You are rigorous and use your curiosity and agility to produce high-quality work quickly. Your team spirit and openness to other cultures will contribute to a good working atmosphere and help you find solutions tailored to the context.
