The Cahors Group is a major industrial player, founded in 1910, specialising in energy distribution and telecommunications infrastructure.
The Cahors Group:
- Designs and manufactures equipment for electrical networks (medium and low voltage) such as boxes, cabinets, concentrators for smart meters, substations, etc.
- Develops charging stations for electric vehicles
- Provides solutions for water, gas and telecommunications networks, as well as for public lighting
- Is committed to the energy transition
- Operates in France and internationally, with 10 subsidiaries in France (including MAEC in Cahors, CRDE in Mercuès, etc.) and 5 sites internationally (Spain, Morocco, China, India)As a true partner to senior management and a manager working closely with international teams, you will oversee the Group's IT activities worldwide, capitalising on existing teams and resources to ensure that the strategy is fully aligned with the vision of senior management.
Your responsibilities will include the following :
Strategy & Governance
- Define and steer the IT strategy in line with the business vision and priorities.
- Build an IT roadmap consistent with growth, customer experience and regulatory compliance challenges.
- Implement robust IT governance focused on performance, security and agility.
Transformation & Projects
- Steer strategic projects: R&D tools, CRM, ERP, invoicing.
- Oversee the deployment of innovative solutions.
- Ensure system interoperability and data flow optimisation.
- Develop a project culture based on ITIL, PMP and agile approaches.
Security & Reliability
- Ensure IT resilience: PRA/PCA supervision, security audits, risk management.
- Oversee cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2).
- Monitor data quality, traceability and reliability.
Management & Change Management
- Support business lines in digital maturity and understanding IT issues.
- Drive change and create a climate conducive to collaboration and innovation.
Innovation & Technology Watch
- Identify and evaluate technological trends (AI, automation, data analytics).
- Guide technology investment decisions and accelerate digital transformation.
- Promote a pragmatic, value-oriented culture of innovation.
Le profil recherché
With 15 years of experience in IT departments, in an industrial context undergoing rapid restructuring or hypergrowth.
- Dual role: strategic and operational, capable of steering while remaining hands-on.
- Intrapreneurial vision, results- and impact-oriented.
- Natural leadership, team spirit, ease in collaborating with an executive committee.
- Solid technical foundation (infrastructure, data, ERP, cybersecurity, cloud).
