Join Our Team as a Senior Pharmacologist in Neurology!
Are you passionate about advancing scientific research in neurology and pharmacology In Vitro? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Scientist to lead our innovative projects and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in the field. If you have a strong background in neuroscience and team management, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!
Main Mission:
- Lead internal and external teams and supervise operational tasks to support neurology projects in early and late discovery phases.
- Proactively contribute to neurology projects beyond in vitro pharmacology expertise.
- Foster a culture promoting scientific rigor and operational excellence within the in vitro pharmacology department.
- Deliver innovative solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team performance and resources to ensure scientific excellence and timely project delivery.
- Anticipate scientific and project needs, contributing to study design and planning.
- Supervise operational tasks internally and externally to execute agreed in vitro pharmacology plans.
- Monitor project literature, develop functional models, and conduct in vitro studies for target validation and optimization.
- Coordinate innovative approaches to support projects.
- Anticipate future business needs through stakeholder meetings and consultations with key opinion leaders.
- Contribute to identifying innovative targets for exploratory projects.
Profile:
Training:
- Ph.D. and post-doc in neuroscience, neurobiology, pharmacology, or related field with strong scientific publications.
Skills:
- Strong team management experience.
- Solid background in in vitro pharmacology.
- Expertise in neurology and related assays, neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation, synaptic biology, and neurodevelopment.
- Knowledge of drug discovery processes.
- Strong collaborative skills and multidisciplinary team effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in French and English.
- Management and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good network and relationship-building skills.
Experience:
- At least 10 years in industry, CRO, or biotech experience as a scientific leader with managerial experience.
