Les missions du poste

As Skincare Product development manager, you will be responsible for strategizing and creating an innovative, breakthrough product support calendar. You will work in close collaboration with the right parties (CMI, Dev, Agencies,...) to develop consumer centric projects. You will work in a 360 mindset and adopt collaborative ways of working.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PRODUCT PORTFOLIO STRATEGY
- Elaborate the calendar & plan (in collaboration with Marketing Group Manager)
- Develop product vision & strategy in line with the brand & category visions
- Build on long-term transformation / innovation with labs & development to address future consumer changes / needs
TRENDS & COMPETITION WATCH
- Fuel the team with trend insights / notes on latest launches from competition
- Keep an eye for luxury, beauty and design, attention to details and generate breakthrough & pioneer ideas
PROJECTS DEVELOPMENT & LAUNCH
- Create innovative project concepts that target unique consumer insights
- Create projects in Magellan
- Manage end-to-end project development (research, formula direction, packaging design, artwork, etc)
- Collaborate with the right parties from early stages onwards (dev, labs, agency, etc)
- Define the product business model and strategy for the launch
- Work with finance to ensure the feasibility & profitability of the project
- Manage legal/aspect aspects of the launch and get approvals from Legal on the claims used for the assets
- Manage the BAT and artworks creation
- Create and send the marketing book
- Create and animate the 360 métiers kick-off, brief them on product and concept and orchestrate the move from the development phase to activation phase
PRODUCT PORTFOLIO PERFORMANCE
- Analyze products portfolio based on consumer needs & market trends and ensure the right optimization of product portfolio (assortment, size, pricing, formula,...)
- Respect the Internal Control policy regarding DED creation & monitor correct execution of purchase with our suppliers
DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Brand DNA
- Luxe Skincare market deep knowledge/expertise
- Consumer habits, needs & wants
- Global trends, textures, competitors etc
- Market data + formulation expertise
- Zone and key countries needs
- DMI functions requirements & needs (labs, dev, S&OP..)
- Magellan
- Product development: décor technology, PVIS , retro-planning (...)
- Legal & artworks
- Drive planning
- First experience in product development is needed
