Location: Marcy L'Etoile, France and ~20-30% travel accross EMEA
You are responsible for shaping how medical and scientific information is delivered across the region. You support healthcare professionals' understanding of the IVD portfolio and strengthens Medical Affairs communication impact. Reporting to the VP Medical Affairs, EMEA, you are part of the regional leadership team and collaborate closely with key Medical Affairs leads to ensure integrated strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Education
* Identify regional medical education and training needs.
* Develop and curate scientifically accurate educational content for HCPs and internal teams.
* Lead medical training programs and onboarding for internal teams.
* Implement regional medical education initiatives with measurable outcomes.
* Create and use metrics to assess the effectiveness of education and training programs.
Medical Communication
* Develop and execute medical communication plans for scientific data and product value messages.
* Create and adapt communication materials (presentations, summaries, FAQs, digital content, publications).
* Manage key communication channels including digital platforms and scientific events.
* Communicate the value and impact of Medical Affairs activities to internal and external stakeholders.
* Support scientific society and KOL engagement with a focus on effective scientific data dissemination.
Crossfunctional Collaboration
* Partner with Global Medical Education & Communication, Marketing Communication, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging and synergy.
* Coordinate scientific presence and communication strategy at regional/national scientific events with Marketing.
* Ensure all activities comply with company and regulatory standards; define priorities and manage budget.
* Work closely with the EMEA Evidence Generation Lead and EMEA Strategy & Functional Excellence Lead to ensure integrated planning and execution.
Le profil recherché
We seek a dynamic, strategic, and creative professional with strong medical affairs expertise, a passion for education, and exceptional communication skills.
Education & Experience:
* Advanced degree (Master's, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Communications, or related field.
* 5+ years in Medical Affairs, Education, Communications, or similar roles within IVD, pharma, or biotech.
Skills & Competencies:
* Communication & Presentation: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex science for diverse audiences. Medical writing experience required.
* Strategic Thinking: Develop and execute impactful education and communication strategies
* Project Management: Plan and deliver multiple initiatives on time and with quality.
* Digital Acumen: Familiarity with e-learning, virtual events, and content management systems.
* Collaboration & Influence: Effective in cross-functional, multicultural teams; lead by influence.
* Proactive & Solution-Oriented: Self-starter, able to identify challenges and propose solutions.
* Business Acumen: Understand healthcare landscape; analyze data and communicate insights.
Languages:
* Fluent English required; another major European language is a strong asset.
IVD Knowledge:
* Experience with in vitro diagnostics, infectious disease, treatment, or clinical microbiology is a plus.
