Pricing Manager
Antony (Île-de-France) - 1 day of remote work
My client is an international group operating in the security and infrastructure protection sector, with a strong European and global presence.
As Pricing Manager, you are responsible for defining, leading, and implementing the pricing strategy across the entire European scope, with the main objective of sustainably improving margins and driving profitable growth.
You play a key role in increasing the maturity of the pricing function within the group and work closely with Sales Management, sales teams, and regional General Management.
The position is based in Antony (Île-de-France) and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and structure the pricing function for European activities
- Standardize the pricing policy through harmonized price lists
- Anticipate and manage pricing actions related to cost fluctuations
- Implement and leverage competitive intelligence to guide pricing decisions
- Achieve pricing and margin objectives, including:
- Managing and maintaining contractual margins
- Driving annual net price and margin increases (projects, contracts, distribution)
- Create and lead regional Deal Desks to support the Projects business
- Work closely with sales leaders to:
- Collect market intelligence
- Define pricing tactics
- Build and manage catalogue pricing
- Develop and use predictive analytics tools to support decision-making
- Manage discount governance through a CPQ tool
- Identify and reduce margin leakage
- Take ownership of the end-to-end tendering process
- Ensure raw material cost increases are reflected in pricing policies
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Master's degree (or equivalent, Bac +5)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a pricing role with responsibility
- Proficiency with an ERP system (SAP, IFS, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of predictive analytics and/or artificial intelligence
- Experience with CRM / CPQ tools (ideally IFS)
- Strong command of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English and French
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
