Craft AI a lancé en 2023 une plateforme de MLOps / LLMOps permettant aux équipes Data & Tech d'entraîner, de déployer et de monitorer tout type d'applications d'IA : IA traditionnelle (Machine Learning, Deep Learning) ou IA générative (LLM). La plateforme est disponible sur tous les clouds providers et notamment les clouds souverains S3NS, Scaleway.

Craft AI a lancé en 2024 Craft GPT, un chatbot conversationnel destiné aux équipes business permettant d'utiliser tout le potentiel de l'IA génératif dans un cadre souverain, sécurisé et adapté aux usages d'entreprise. Les utilisateurs ont accès au LLM de leur choix (sous API ou open-source) et peuvent facilement personnaliser les modèles pour qu'ils répondent précisément à leurs enjeux d'entreprise (RAG, fine-tuning, agents).

We are looking for a confirmed GenAI Engineer to join the Data Science team within our Customer Department. You will report directly to the Head of the department and work closely with our project managers to bring CraftAI's value to our customers.

As a data scientist within the customer department, you will:

- Design, build and deploy custom Gen AI applications and services for our customers in various domains (legal, HR, education...),
- Understand the business & technical challenges of our clients & prosects, especially when it comes to their data exploration and modeling,
- Contribute to the definition, design and implementation of state of the art new AI features, working closely with our R&D and tech teams to improve our capabilities.

The range of activities planned for this opportunity goes from the data source with analytics, through state-of-the-art ML modeling, to the delivery of the results with deployed systems. At , we believe AI value comes when delivered to its final users. You will be working at the intersection of R&D and applied AI, working both directly with our customers and our R&D engineers.

Technical Environnement

The technical environnements are diversified. Our main daily tools are:

- Strong proficiency in Python (mastering another language would be greatly appreciated),
- Expertise in ML techniques, LLM ecosystem, and open-source techniques.
- Experience with key tools and libraries: LangGraph, LlamaIndex, RAG, VectorDB, model quantization, and deployment frameworks (vLLM, ...).
- Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Understanding MLOps workflows, CI/CD, and version control systems like Git

Preferred Experience

- 1 year minimumof professional experienceafteryour studies and internship;
- Master, engineering degree or PhD (STEM);
- Strong value-oriented mindset and intellectual curiosity to understand our customers needs;
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and LLM systems;
- Skills in software development;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in French and English, to convey the values of your work to various stakeholders.

The estimated salary package for this role ranges from 45 000€ to 50 000€ gross annual, plus an annual variable.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process is made of 3 steps:
- An interview (45 min), during which you will present yourself and your interests, along with a presentation of and our missions;
- A technical interview with a Data Scientist on Machine Learning basics, some live coding and how to treat a real-world usecase;
- A small usecase to deal with on your side with a last encounter to meet the Team and present what you did.
