As a Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) - Plastics you will report to Category Sourcing Director in the Sourcing department based in Obernai (France), Blieskastel (Germany), Kórnik, Tychy or Bierun (Poland) for a permanent contract.

As Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) for Plastics, you will shape global sourcing strategies, lead international teams, and build strong partnerships that make a measurable impact on our business worldwide.

Your role

- Own and drive the global sourcing strategy for the plastics category (plastics, chemicals, PVC), aligned with our business and sustainability ambitions
- Lead, coach, and develop an international sourcing organization, empowering teams to perform and grow
- Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, acting as a trusted interface and negotiation lead.
- Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D to unlock value and competitive advantage.
- Drive cost, performance, and risk management initiatives across the global supply base
- Anticipate market developments and translate insights into resilient, future-oriented sourcing decisions

What you bring

- A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Solid experience in category sourcing or strategic procurement within an international environment
- A strong leadership mindset and experience in leading teams within complex, global organizations
- Strategic thinking, negotiation strength, and the ability to influence at all levels
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are an advantage
- A structured, analytical, and solution-driven approach
- Willingness to travel within Europe

What are the recruitment stages?

- Once your CV has been selected, you will be contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone exchange.
- You will be invited for a first interview with the hiring manager & the recruiter
- A second Interview will be then organized with the N+2 & the HR manager
