Yourkeyresponsibilities
As a Project Controller, your key responsibility will be :
- Financial Project Controlling and Financial Support of specific projects portfolio within BA GEN (mainly Business Stream Large Nuclear Infrastructures).
Your function
- Monitor and control project financials throughout the project's lifecycle;
- Support Project Managers with financial insights;
- Identification and monitoring of risks & opportunities of projects;
- Ensure compliance with Tractebel and Engie financial policies and IFRS standards;
- Act as a key interface between finance and operational teams;
- Elaboration of accurate dashboards / reports and production and follow-up of financial and/or operational KPI's (Yearly, Monthly & Quarterly results, P&L, Business Booked, Hours,...) for a specific product of the BA;
- Variance analyses in comparison to their the annual objectives and Proposal of corrective actions necessary to reach the annual objectives if/when necessary;
- Assistance to Lead Controllers during periodical project reviews and Monthly Closing, especially for significant projects within perimeter;
- Contribution to ad-hoc BA and transversal analyses upon request of Lead Controller / Head of Finance BA.
- Work towards governance reinforcement and governance convergence throughout all BA's in order to streamline BA processes;
Interaction
- Internal interfaces: Head of Finance BA, Head of P&L, Product Manager BA, Lead Controller BA, etc.;
- External interfaces: BA stakeholders, customers (public and private).
We would love to hear from people with
A Master degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Audit and Control, Economics management sciences and you have at least 2 years' experience in a similar function.
Who you are
- You have a professional working proficiency in French and a full professional working proficiency in English;
- You have an excellent command of office tools (MS Office) and strong knowledge of Excel and SAP;
- You ideally have some knowledge of the Engineering business;
- You integrate easily in multidisciplinary teams, you are sociable, dynamic and prepared to take initiatives;
- You have a strong analytical mind-set, you are well organized, accurate, rigorous, stress resistant and focused on meeting the schedules;
- You are assertive and defend firmly and clearly your point of view in case of differences of opinion;
- You are eager to learn and evolve into a growing environment.
