Planning, execution as well as assessment and reporting of scientific experiments in the field of cell culture development. Close collaboration with the responsible lab head and technicians.

Main responsibilities:
- Working with mammalian cell cultures to develop manufacturing processes of biologics such monoclonal antibodies and antibody-like molecules using different technologies and scales
- Supervision of technical scale manufacturing processes (Person in Plant, PIP) for technical pilot plant
- In close consultation with responsible lab head, you coordinate the activities of experiment planning and execution to develop or optimize cell culture processes
- Manage interface with in-process analytics to coordinate analytical requests
- Timely assessment of development experiments and data availability to support the writing of development reports (documentation in English, co-author of development reports)
- Co-author of technical documentation, to ensure an efficient and successful process transfer into technical (nonGMP) and GMP facility and support receiving sites via trouble shooting activities
- Contribute on maintaining lab space and equipment, taking over responsibility for a dedicated set of equipment and/or specific task
- Ensure application of laboratory HSE rules
- In parallel to these development activities, main responsibilities of the process engineer are:
- Trainee/apprentice management
- lead and/or participate to different working group (interaction with CCD, Mammalian platform, or CMC, with leadership team, with Vitry teams and US teams)
About you
- Study of Biotechnology, Biology or similar (Engineer school or Master of Science)
- Being familiar (hands on experience) with suspension cell culture and upstream technologies, such as wave bioreactors, Ambr15/250, bench top bioreactors (both disposable and non-disposable)
- Experience in planning and execution of experiments in regards of process development
- Intermediate level in English
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking orientated skills
- Experience in writing scientific reports
- Good team working skills, high level of flexibility and good communication skills
