WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Manufacturing Engineer II will provide technical support and lead continuous improvement initiatives for CNC machining operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, optimal machine utilization, and adherence to quality standards. The engineer will collaborate closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and support new product introductions. Key responsibilities include recommending and documenting changes to improve quality, throughput, and safety; training operators; and communicating updates to management. The engineer will also support tracking and achieving OEE goals, drive World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program savings, and manage capital projects - either scoped by management or initiated independently. The ideal candidate will conduct business with a customer-centric mindset, demonstrate a strong commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, and possess the technical expertise to drive projects to completion.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Technical Degree is required
Master's Degree: Technical Degree, or equivalent is preferred
3-5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering experience is required or 3+ years' experience with a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering
Lean Manufacturing Processes; 5S, Kaizen, etc., is preferred
Demonstrates understanding and responds proactively with a sense of urgency to customer needs.
Solution-focused with leadership ability to drive projects to completion.
Engages appropriate personnel to ensure effective implementation is required
Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and applications is required
Proficiency in CNC Machining - Mill & Lathes, Tooling Design, Programming, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD is required
Knowledge of IATF 16949, AS 9100, and ISO 14001 standards and their practical application is preferred
Problem-solving, project scoping & project management skills are required
