As an Account Manager, you will partner with Account Executives to execute customer account strategies, develop regional market account plans to meet sales expectations, and serve as the Voice of the Customer throughout the contract lifecycle for assigned accounts. This role also focuses on operational excellence across the assigned Global Markets region, including coordinating market insights, overseeing region budget control and ensuring commercial process implementation, while fostering collaboration among the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Trusted Relationships: Act as a strategic advisor to customers, gaining insight into their business needs and leveraging that knowledge to expand Westinghouse's pipeline across our full portfolio.
- Support Account Strategy: Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales teams to shape account strategies using customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends to influence marketing, strategic planning, and product development. Monitor progress against strategic market development objectives for region (pipeline) and provide monthly reporting. Participate in strategic reviews for large opportunities and ensure lessons learned are applied across sub-regions.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage business development activities, including contract support, negotiations, order entry, and communication with marketing and product teams. Coordinate strategic growth actions across region, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and tracked. Coordinate, synthetize and communicate market trends, growth potential and customer need in the overall region. Oversee region annual budget in partnership with cost center owners. Develop the annual OE plan and phasing for the region in collaboration with Sales organization
- Project Oversight: Monitor project execution from start to finish to ensure safe, high-quality delivery and compliance with contractual obligations. Escalate issues as needed to leadership.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Leadership: Drive adoption and effective use of CRM tools to manage pipeline and track actions toward target objectives. Ensure alignment among sub-regions for full implementation of processes and tools.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving customer issues and commercial disputes in partnership with Account Executives and business leaders. Proactively identify risks or deviations versus objectives and recommend mitigation actions.
What We're Looking For
- Customer-centric, solutions-oriented team player with general knowledge of nuclear plant operations. Building strong relationships-both externally and internally-is essential to ensure Westinghouse delivers differentiated products and services.
- Experience in nuclear plant operations and direct customer engagement is a plus. Outage and/or field experience is desired.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and influence outcomes aligned to our strategic priorities.
- Demonstrates understanding of financial and operational planning tools, including account & capture plans, budget reporting, and financial plan development.
Travel: Some travels in the region

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, technical discipline, or business.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, account management, sales, project management or business roles. Previous customer-oriented experience is desired.
- Knowledge of NSSS systems, business unit products, services, commercial operations, financial planning and/or strategic objectives is highly valued.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
