ENTER THE GAME
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineerto join our teamData Engineering Core.You willdesign, build, andoptimizescalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. You will play a key role in shaping our modern data stack, ensuring data reliability, performance, and accessibility across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with DataSquadsEngineering to deliver high-quality, production-grade data solutions.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
In this role, your main missions will be:
- Design, develop, andmaintainrobust, scalable data pipelines using Python,dbt, and Airflow.
- Build andoptimizedata models within Snowflake to support analytics and business intelligence use cases.
- Develop and manage ELT workflows, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance.
- Implement andmaintainorchestration workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Design andmaintaincloud-based data infrastructure on AWS (S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Apply best practices in datamodeling, testing, documentation, and version control.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and continuously improve the data platform.

This job is for you if:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
- StrongproficiencyindbtandPython for data processing and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience for data transformation andmodeling.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake (datamodeling, performance tuning, optimization).
- Solid experience with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Strong understanding of datalakehousesconcepts and dimensionalmodeling.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and version control (Git).
- Strong SQL skills and performance optimization knowledge.
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Youare able tocommunicate in English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Exposure to BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Spark/Databricks.
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?
If your application is shortlisted, Mathilde will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
You will then meet with the Data PlatformHead of Engineeringduring an interview. Finally, Mathilde will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.
The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
