AXA Health International is a new organization within the Health Division of AXA, bringing together all teams involved in cross-border health and protection insurance and reinsurance. One of these teams currently operates within the AXA Life & Health International Solutions (ALHIS) department of AXA France.

This department manages a portfolio of large corporate clients (typically CAC40 companies), governmental organizations (foreign affairs ministries, embassies), and international non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations, all seeking international health and protection coverage for their staff worldwide.

Your role will be crucial in supporting this growth and ensuring regulatory compliance in a dynamic international setting.

As an Expert Actuary S2 / IFRS 17, your core responsibilities include:

Management and oversight of IFRS 17 activities:

- Lead and oversee IFRS 17-related activities, including projection modeling, contractual service margin (CSM) calculation, and technical provisions;
- Drive and manage cross-functional projects, such as model development, assumption reviews, and system upgrades;
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within actuarial and regulatory processes;

Regulatory expertise and advice:

- Provide expert guidance on Solvency II, including SCR, MCR, best estimates, ORSA, and regulatory reporting;
- Analyze and produce high-quality technical and financial results, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards;

Collaboration and coordination:

- Act as a key liaison between actuarial, finance, accounting, and IT teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing;

We are looking for a talented and motivated professional who is passionate about IFRS 17, Solvency II, and working in a dynamic international environment. If you enjoy tackling complex challenges, collaborating across teams, and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Technical skills:

- Hold an advanced degree in Actuarial Science (ENSAE, ISFA, EURIA, or equivalent) or a related field;
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in actuarial roles, with deep expertise in IFRS 17 and Solvency II;
- Be proficient in actuarial tools such as R, Python, Prophet, and SQL, with experience working in accounting and IT environments;

- Possess a strong analytical mindset, with proven leadership skills and a keen eye for detail;
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels;
