----------------------------------------- ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Lead AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and integrating AI systems at the core of the product.
You will work across the full data lifecycle - from ingesting complex financial data (reports, filings, public datasets) to building intelligent features directly embedded into the platform.
This role is ideal for a senior profile looking to have a high impact on AI strategy, with strong exposure to both product and business challenges

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and build data ingestion and structuring systems (scraping, PDF parsing, financial datasets)
* Develop data processing and enrichment pipelines (feature engineering, scoring, classification, information extraction)
* Transform complex datasets into actionable product signals (analytics, benchmarking, decision-support tools)
* Build and integrate AI-powered product features (copilots, intelligent exploration, smart interfaces)
* Define hybrid approaches combining machine learning, business rules, and LLMs
* Implement evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement frameworks
* Collaborate closely with data, product, and engineering teams
* Continuously explore and test new AI approaches (LLMs, RAG, agents...)
* Contribute to architectural decisions and AI strategy
* Mentor and support team members on AI topics

- CANDIDATE PROFILE

MUST-HAVE

* 5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering
* Proven experience deploying AI/ML systems in production
* Strong proficiency in Python
* Experience working with complex and unstructured data (NLP, documents, scraping...)
* Solid skills in feature engineering and data processing
* Ability to design robust, product-oriented systems
* Strong autonomy, analytical mindset, and results-driven attitude
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

NICE-TO-HAVE

* Experience with LLMs, RAG, or conversational systems
* Background in fintech or data-intensive environments
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Experience with MLOps, data quality, or monitoring
* Previous experience in startups or fast-paced environments
