Join a small, specialized team focused on high-performance scientific instruments for research laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry.
We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to strengthen the company's presence in the Paris and Northern France regions.
You will be responsible for promoting and selling cutting-edge technical solutions (multi-mode microplate readers) to a demanding clientele: academic laboratories, biotech companies, CROs, and large pharmaceutical groups.
Your responsibilities:
- Understand the technical needs of clients and propose tailored solutions
- Drive business development in your sector (existing clients and active prospecting)
- Conduct product demonstrations, train users, and support the purchasing process
- Collaborate closely with the technical support, marketing, and applications teams
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and scientific events
Desired profile:
- A scientific background (biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, instrumentation, or equivalent)
- Field sales experience (B2B) in the sciences or laboratory technology field is a plus, though not essential
- A good understanding of fluorescence, luminescence, absorbance technologies, or research environments
- Independence, strong interpersonal skills, scientific curiosity, and a proactive mindset
