Airbus Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Leader specializing in SAP BI technologies (BW, Business Objects, BPC, SAC, SLT) to join our Information Management (IM) / IT Department within the Analytics Solution domain. In this critical role, you will be the technical authority and go-to expert for the SAP BI platforms, driving their adoption, ensuring their optimal performance, and guiding the technical direction for their integration within our data and analytics landscape. You will work closely with data engineers, IT architects, and business users to leverage the full capabilities of SAP BI to deliver valuable insights and solutions for Airbus Helicopters.

Your future missions:

- SAP BI Platform Expertise: Serve as the primary technical expert for the Airbus SAP BI platform within the organization, possessing deep knowledge of its architecture, functionalities and data models.
- Technical Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineers and other technical teams on the effective utilization of SAP BI for data ingestion, processing, storage, analysis, and visualization.
- SAP BI Solution Design & Architecture: Design and architect robust, scalable, and performant data and analytics solutions leveraging the SAP BI platforms, ensuring alignment with overall IT architecture and data strategy.
- Integration & Interoperability: Lead the technical integration of SAP BI with other enterprise systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP BI environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Best Practices & Standards: Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and guidelines for developing and deploying solutions on the SAP BI platforms.
- Knowledge Sharing & Mentoring: Share knowledge and expertise on SAP BI with the wider technical community within Airbus Helicopters, mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Collaboration with Airbus SAP BI Teams: Act as the primary technical point of contact with the central Airbus SAP BI teams, collaborating on platform updates, new features, and issue resolution.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure that all SAP BI-based solutions adhere to relevant security policies, data governance regulations, and compliance standards.
- Innovation & Adoption: Stay abreast of new features and capabilities within the SAP BI platform and drive their adoption within Airbus Helicopters to enhance our data and analytics capabilities.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to SAP BI architecture, configurations, and best practices.

Your profile:

- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Extensive SAP BI Experience: Proven and deep hands-on experience (typically 5+ years) working extensively with the SAP BI platforms in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong Technical Background: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, LSA++ architectures, computing platforms and data integration tools.
- Programming & Scripting Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to data processing and analysis (e.g., ABAP, SQL).
- Performance Tuning & Optimization: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in complex data processing pipelines and platform environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of the aviation or aerospace industry and its data challenges is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of French is advantageous.
