Departmental Overview:

The GM IT Regulatory PROGRAM Department is responsible for the management and coordination of all IT aspects of regulatory initiatives impacting the activities and operations of Global Markets.

As part of BNPP's regulatory commitments, Global Markets Front Office Conduct Surveillance is a team within GM Business to ensure that Front Office Trading and Sales staff act in accordance with regulatory and internal rules of conduct.
After starting operations with user-developed tools, the FOCS team is now looking at the industrialization of these tools, to deploy them to a global user base, and to expand them to cover all asset classes.

In addition, the FOCS team also seeks to build on the latest digital trends, integrate analysis and IA, and aim for a holistic picture of Conduct Risk covering electronic communications, orders, transactions and other relevant information sources.

The priorities for 2026-2027 are:
-Complete communications monitoring documentation (IG Request)
-Develop and deploy the global communication monitoring tool (NEW HORIZONS) replacing the existing tool called RedOwl

The mission is to manage and deliver key developments related to the employee and communication data in the monitoring platform.

This will include a very close "agile" mission with Business users, aiming for rapid delivery of maximum functionality, in order to meet our very tight regulatory deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities of this Mission:

-Collect and document functional requirements, usage cases and specifications
-Review of requirements with Data Engineers to ensure technical feasibility
-Collaboration with main business sponsors, platform supervision, compliance and corporate management to develop a highly visible holistic supervision and monitoring platform
-Regular meetings and interfaces with internal and external project teams
-Coordination with the PM project: Agile Sprint
-Design and implementation of a data strategy to support the use of companies focused on multi-vector analysis using various natural language processing and machine learning techniques
-Development and enhancement of software solutions to meet operational requirements such as eCom/aComm ingestion scripts and data management processes
-Exchange with the project manager and data engineers within the team to provide feedback on implementation schedules and best practices
-Multiple tasks and adherence to aggressive schedule
- Write Functional & Technical Specification Documents for each software component.
- Create Acceptance Test Plans and Test Scripts; facilitate UAT sessions and capture sign-off from business owners.

Expertise required:

-Expertise within the capital markets Front Office, Compliance, Operations and IT support teams in a Capital Markets domain by developing a client-centred solution and working with the implementation of supplier products
-Strong background IT is required
-Technologies and concepts Big Data, Elastic Search with PostgreSQL/Oracle is a plus
-Understanding the stages of the project life cycle - Implementation requirements
-Management of conflicting demands in a rapidly changing environment
-Anglophone environment
-Expert in writing documentation, meeting minutes
-Expert in writing acceptance test plans and UAT follow up
-Mission based in Paris
