As part of this growth, we are looking for a Business Manager to contribute to the development of one of our strategic Business Units dedicated to Clinical Research and Life Sciences activities.
Your Mission
As a Business Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial development, consultant management, and client relationship management of your business perimeter, while contributing actively to Excelya's growth strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
Business Development & Client Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through active prospecting and networking activities
- Conduct client meetings, qualify needs, promote Excelya's expertise and manage commercial negotiations
- Build long-term partnerships with clients and ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Participate in business reviews and strategic meetings with key stakeholders
- Promote Excelya's expertise across Clinical Operations, Biometrics, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing and Medical Affairs activities
Consultant Management & Recruitment
- Recruit, onboard and manage consultants specialized in clinical research and Life Sciences
- Ensure regular follow-up with consultants during their missions and support their career development
- Manage staffing activities in collaboration with Talent Acquisition teams
- Anticipate project endings and secure continuity of assignments for consultants
- Contribute to maintaining a positive employee experience and strong consultant engagement
Business Performance & Operational Management
- Contribute to the profitability and growth of your business perimeter
- Monitor revenue, margins, forecasting and operational KPIs
- Participate in the management of intercontract situations and staffing optimization
- Ensure accurate reporting and proactive management of business activities
Cross-functional Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with Recruitment, HR, Finance and Delivery teams to ensure operational excellence
- Participate in the implementation of Excelya's commercial strategy within the Clinical Research division
- Contribute to market intelligence activities and identify emerging trends within the Life Sciences industry
- Represent Excelya during networking events, congresses and industry meetings

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial profile with strong business development capabilities and a good understanding of the clinical research environment.
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Previous experience or internship in business development, consulting, recruitment, sales, or account management is a plus
- Interest in Clinical Research, CRO environments, healthcare consulting, or Life Sciences industries
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a client-oriented mindset
- Strong motivation to develop commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
- Professional level of English required
