Maintenance Technician H/F - Saint-Gobain

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am: (4) 10 hours shifts

Only maintenance technician on site during these hours. This role is expected to be self-sufficient and prioritize appropriately.On call rotation for key equipment breakdowns Monday to Monday, any hours not regularly staffed by maintenance, including weekends The Role Saint-Gobain is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill a role as a maintenance technician. The ideal candidate will have safety as their #1 priority. The position is responsible for troubleshooting and performing moderatelycomplex installation and/or repairs on all facilities, manufacturing, and production equipment. The incumbent will need to draw on knowledge that includes low voltage electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, carpentry, welding, fabrication,and/or other mechanical disciplines.

Work Safely and follow Saint-Gobain safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for the preventative maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of equipment.
Maintain a spare parts inventory to reduce downtime.
Repair and maintain production equipment, following priorities outlined by the production team.
Records maintenance and repair work performed.
Works with appropriate departments
Repairs to the facilities.
Operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other material handling equipment
Work at elevated heights occasionally (ladders/platforms/roof)

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED/equivalent required.
Maintenance Certifications, Preferred.
3-5 Years previous experience working in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
Work Individually and as part of a Team
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
Reliable transportation to/from work
Ability to safely use power tools and welding equipment
Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics.
