As a Piping Engineer specializing in the nuclear sector, you will join ALTEN teams to work on large-scale projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact with the supplier, acting as the main interface.
- Ensure technical compliance of supplier documents (design files, plans, etc.) with contractual and nuclear standards.
- Review and validate technical documents such as calculation notes, execution drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
- Coordinate internally with system engineers (especially in Mechanics and Valves), the Quality team, and the project team (planning and cost).
- Participate in technical reviews and progress meetings.
- Oversee manufacturing, testing, and quality control activities at the supplier's site.
- Monitor non-conformities, waiver requests, and corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to on-site construction teams, addressing field deviations and installation queries.
Le profil recherché
- Engineering degree or Master's level (Bac +5) with a specialization in metal structures, static mechanics, or rotating machinery.
- Initial relevant experience in the field, ideally within the energy and/or nuclear sector (including internships or work-study programs).
- Strong autonomy, with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both languages.
