As we continue to expand our Automotive business, we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager Automotive Europe F/M to develop, retain and grow a portfolio of strategic pan-European customers. Reporting to the Automotive Sector Market Leader, you will build long-term partnerships with leading OEMs, Tier suppliers and key industry players, driving profitable growth while ensuring operational excellence across multiple European countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic Automotive accounts across Europe.
- Define and execute European Account Plans aligned with customers' business objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics and Executive Management.
- Lead pan-European commercial negotiations and coordinate responses to international tenders.
- Develop integrated transport and logistics solutions tailored to the Automotive industry, including inbound, outbound, aftermarket and time-critical operations.
- Coordinate Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal and IT teams to ensure seamless execution across Europe.
- Monitor account performance through revenue, profitability, service quality and agreed KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to optimize customers' supply chains and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent commercial, contractual and operational execution across all countries.
Profile
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years' experience in transport, logistics or supply chain.
- Proven experience managing strategic Automotive accounts at an international or European level.
- Strong understanding of Automotive supply chains, including OEMs, Tier suppliers and just-in-time (JIT/JIS) logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and financial acumen.
- Fluent English is essential; an additional European language is an advantage.
