Quandela is a European start up that provides photonic quantum computers that are modular, scalable, energy-efficient and accessible both on the cloud and on premise. Our team of 85 employees, specialises in the development of both software and hardware solutions for a variety of quantum applications. We offer a wide range of services, from developing the most efficient and brightest single photons sources, to creating algorithms for quantum computers and providing cloud quantum computing solutions. You will act as the interface between the systems, opto-electronics, software, and integration teams.Your Key Responsibilities1. Electronic Board Management & DevelopmentDesign and develop electronic boards using Altium Designer (schematics,componentselection, routing)Gather requirements and contribute to writing technical specificationsManage hardware versions,componentobsolescence, and manufacturability improvementsCoordinateboardintegrationwithinQuandela'sproductProduce the documentation associated to each electronic board2. Associated Software DevelopmentDevelop andmaintainembedded firmware on microcontrollersDevelop Python scripts for equipment control, configuration, and validationEnsure consistency across hardware, firmware, and software evolutionsProduce documentationrequiredfor integration and maintenance3. Configuration Management & TraceabilityManage versions of boards,firmwares, and associated software toolsEnsure traceability of configurations deployed in each systemMaintain technical documentation and manufacturing filesGuarantee availability of the correct versions for integration and production teams4. Validation & Production TransferDefine validation strategies and implement test protocolsContribute to the definition and evolution of test benchesEnsure every new board is fully documented and production-ready before transferCollaborate with teams to guarantee maintainability of developments
