Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of Commissioning and Quality activities that enable successful project outcomes, operational readiness, and achievement of Ready for Service (RFS) milestones.ResponsibilitiesProgramme LeadershipLead regional Commissioning and Quality programmes across multiple concurrent construction projectsDevelop and implement standardised commissioning plans, schedules, and delivery frameworksOversee pipeline planning to inform resource allocation and execution strategyPartner with Construction, Operations, and contractors to ensure seamless project deliveryProvide input into project budgets, testing strategies (FAT/FPT), and Critical Environment ProgrammesStakeholder & Customer LeadershipAct as senior point of contact for customer engagement during commissioningPresent progress against commissioning milestones, including RFS readinessLead resolution of escalations to maintain stakeholder confidence and delivery outcomesOperational Excellence Drive adherence to commissioning standards, governance, and best practicesLead continuous improvement of commissioning processes and frameworksStandardise commissioning scopes and schedules aligned to customer requirementsReporting & InsightsOwn commissioning reporting across projects, ensuring accuracy and transparencyOversee production of commissioning documentation, test procedures, and operational readiness reportsLeverage data and insights to improve performance and inform future deliveryVendor & Partner ManagementLead commissioning vendor strategy, including RFPs, selection, and performance managementDefine vendor KPIs, conduct business reviews, and drive continuous improvementLead external commissioning resources and governance forumsQualificationsSignificant data centre commissioning experience in mission-critical environmentsProven leadership across large, complex construction programmesStrong technical expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systemsBachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferredThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:Italy - ML1 Milan : 106,000 - 158,000 EUR / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
