WHY DO WE NEED YOU?Supports materials planning, purchasing execution, and supplier management. Serves as the primary interface between suppliers and the site, ensuring alignment on delivery schedules, resolving supply issues, and maintaining continuity of operations, inventory control, and supplier performance.Supports the timely procurement and availability of raw materials required to support manufacturing, testing, packaging, and shipping activities in alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and site production demands. Issues and manages PO's and supports on-time delivery of materials to support operations.Operates in compliance with SG purchasing standards and global guidelines, including the application of PQRST principles (Price, Quality, Risk, Service, and Technology). Supports Materials Manager and teams by assisting in the implementation of sourcing strategies, maintaining supplier performance, and deploying standardized processes within the MRP system.Adherence to policies and procedures is required. Maintains a strong customer-focused mindset and actively contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational performance, supplier reliability, and overall business results.Position promotes a safe working environment by adhering to PPE requirements, reporting incidents, and participating in departmental safety initiatives.Hours: Monday to Friday- 8:00 am - 4:30 pmMaterials Planning & Procurement ExecutionSupports the admin of raw material purchases/requirements.Follows the procurement plan for raw materials and non-inventory items aligned with the MPS.Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (requisitions and direct POs)Update PO pricing, order quantities, and delivery dates based on supplier confirmations and planning changes.Monitor open purchase orders and ensure aged orders are closed or updated.Expedite and de-expedite purchase orders based on production requirements.Respond to planner and production requests to ensure material availability.Logistics, AP & System CoordinationCommunicate with logistics providers (domestic and international) to inform about a PO ready to collect and/or obtain tracking information.Monitor open receipts and ensure alignment with invoices.Resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with AP (Medius).Support continuous improvement of P2P processes.Supplier Management & Risk MitigationPoint of contact between suppliers and the site for delivery/supply issues.Maintain supplier relationships to confirm production and shipping schedules.Assists with supplier performance activities and helps with improvement actions.Identify, communicate, and escalate supply risks impacting production.Assists with sourcing and negotiation activities aligned with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.Non-Conformance & Supplier Claims Management Support resolution of supplier-related non-conformances in collaboration with Quality.Participate in cross-functional communication with suppliers alongside Quality reps.Assists with Purchasing responsibilities in the non-conformance process, including:Tracking supplier credits related to rejected materials.Coordinating with suppliers and Accounts Payable on invoicing and credit processing.Supports proper documentation and communication between Purchasing, Quality, and suppliers.Support timely resolution to minimize financial and operational impact. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?Required:High School Diploma/GED with one to three years of relevant work experience or Associates degree in relevant field with relevant work experience.Experience:Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment. The local pay range for this position is $27.00 to $34.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location/geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus.
