As an International People Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing our day-to-day HR operations and scaling our processes as we grow.Reporting to the People Ops Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, multi-country payroll operations (EMEA & US), labor law compliance, and HR reporting.You will be responsible for all administrative management of the employee lifecycle and the production of outsourced payroll for employees in France and other countriesensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and implementing optimized processes to support our company's growth.?? Key ResponsibilitiesInternational Payroll & Compensation ManagementMulti-Country Payroll Execution: Manage, audit, and run outsourced monthly payroll for France and international entities across EMEA (Germany, Spain, UK, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, etc.) and the US.Vendor & Tool Management: Serve as the primary contact for external payroll providers and HR platformsPayroll Data & Accuracy: Collect, prepare, track, and verify monthly payroll variables (bonuses, leaves, expenses, severance pay) to ensure 100% accuracy and timely execution.Employee Lifecycle & HR AdministrationLifecycle Administration: Coordinate the entire employee journey from onboarding to offboarding (employment contracts, addenda, social security affiliations, healthcare enrollment, exit documentation).HRIS & Data Integrity: Maintain and parameterize our HRIS (DEEL) and internal tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and compliance across all regions.Global Mobility & Immigration: Lead legal administrative procedures for hiring international talent, including work permit acquisitions, visa sponsorship, and foreign employee registration.Office & Admin Operations: Oversee local office administration management and support facilities workflows across hubs.Legal Compliance, Process Optimization & ProjectsLabor Law Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local labor codes (with strong focus on the French Labor Code), internal company policies, and regional collective bargaining agreements.Process Scaling & Harmonization: In a scaling context, standardise existing workflows and design new, scalable People Ops processes across all entities.Strategic HR Projects: Contribute to special initiatives such as tool integrations/synergies, payroll vendor optimizations, and M&A integration projects.HR Analytics & ReportingSocial Dashboards: Build, maintain, and analyze key HR metrics to monitor activity (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, payroll costs, workplace accidents).Legal Compliance Tracking: Monitor, calculate, and publish required legal metrics (e.g., French Gender Equality Index / Index Égalité Professionnelle) and ensure regulatory tracking.Employee Experience & Team SynergyEmployee Point of Contact: Act as a trusted, responsive contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, contract queries, and HR policies.Cross-Functional Backup: Ensure operational continuity by acting as a strong backup for your team mate across all core People Ops topics.Your profile & QualificationsRequirementsExperience: 3 to 5+ years in an International People Ops / HR Generalist role within a fast-growing Tech or Scale-up environmentPayroll & Legal Knowledge: Strong mastery of French labor law & payroll rules, paired with hands-on experience in European and international HR regulations.Languages:Fluent in English and French (both mandatory). Working proficiency or fluency in German is a strong plus.HR Tech Stack: Proficiency with HRIS platforms, international payroll tools (Deel is real plus), Google Workspace, and Mac OS.Analytical & Autonomous: Comfortable with numbers, data reporting, and tool parameterization.
