Hexcel is currently seeking a Business Support Analyst - EMEA F/M. The position is based in Dagneux, France.
Support the Business Support Manager and key stakeholders across Sales and Marketing (Europe & Asia) by coordinating business support operations, sales reporting standardisation, and commercial information systems administration. Act as the primary functional liaison between commercial teams and the central IT / Business Intelligence team to translate business requirements into robust analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- Sales reporting and commercial analytics: Structure, standardise, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc sales reports for Sales and Marketing teams across Europe and Asia. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and alignment across customer, product, market, and geographic hierarchies.
- Functional system administration and demand planning support: Administer and maintain business-critical commercial systems, specifically the demand forecasting and planning platform (18-24 month rolling forecasts). Manage user access, master data structures, and day-to-day user support for sales engineers and product managers.
- ERP transition and systems integration: Support ongoing operational stability and data flows between commercial tools and group ERP systems during migration phases (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365).
- Business-to-IT interface and project coordination: Act as the trusted advisor and bridge between Sales/Marketing and the central BI/IT development team. Gather and formalise business requirements into functional specifications, assess technical impacts on legacy workflows, and ensure developed Power BI solutions accurately reflect commercial needs without having to code in production directly.
- Continuous improvement and ad hoc support: Address tailored business requests while reducing reliance on one-off manual routines. Identify simplification opportunities across commercial processes and support data quality initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree (Bac +5 level minimum) in Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Sales Operations, or related field.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in an international, industrial manufacturing environment, ideally in Sales Operations, Commercial Controlling, or Business Support.
- Solid functional understanding of Business Intelligence concepts, relational databases, and Power BI report architecture (ability to understand data schemas, formulate technical briefs, and challenge IT developers on feasibility).
- Practical experience working with ERP platforms (Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 preferred) and commercial planning/forecasting tools.
- Proven comfort with operational routines (recurrent reporting, master data hygiene, functional maintenance) alongside continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong business acumen regarding industrial B2B sales cycles, forecasting mechanisms, and customer hierarchies; awareness of commercial pricing dynamics is appreciated.
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory daily working languages across European and Asian entities).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the demonstrated leadership mindset to potentially grow into management responsibilities over time.
