Les missions du poste
Computing is hungry for electricity. AI and the cloud consume it faster than land-based grids can supply it. On land, data centres are hitting three walls: available power, freshwater and land.
CIRCEO chose to head offshore. Founded in Nantes in 2025, the company designs autonomous energy ships: hulls carrying wind turbines that harvest the open-ocean wind, stronger and steadier than on land, and power on-board servers cooled directly by seawater. No grid connection, no freshwater draw, no land take.
Behind the project are three founders with a proven track record: Fabien Bardinet (former COO of Aldebaran Robotics, former CEO of Balyo, former VP at Airbus), Boris Morinière (CEA, Airbus) and Michel Soubrier (twenty years at Naval Group, from nuclear submarines to shipyard production).
The roadmap is concrete: a demonstrator, a 16-metre trimaran, with construction starting in late 2026 and launch in 2027, then an 80-metre ship, currently in preliminary design, the first of a fleet built for series production.
CIRCEO is now hiring its first team: the people who will commit everything to opening a territory no one has explored yet. Around twenty people, each working directly with the founders, each owning their system end to end.
The culture taking shape fits in a few words: enthusiasm, shared intelligence and a diverse team, drawn from energy, naval, computing and beyond. Stimulating, brilliant people, maybe a little crazy in places, and genuinely electrifying when they come together around the same problem. Here, we ship machines, not slide decks, and the sea has the final say: every assumption will be measured there.

Office Manager
New position - Permanent part-time contract (CDI), based in Nantes, France
Reporting to Fabien Bardinet, CEO, you are the team's anchor point. While the engineers build the ship, you make sure everything else holds together: the offices, the admin, the events, and the bond that turns some twenty people into a crew.
1. Bring the place and the team to life
You manage the offices and workshop at Le Brick, in Nantes: spaces, suppliers and day-to-day purchasing. You look after team life and the moments that bring people together.
2. Run HR administration
You handle onboarding of new hires, leave tracking, payroll coordination and recruitment logistics. With around fifteen arrivals planned by early 2027, there will be no shortage of pace.
3. Organise and communicate
Board meetings, team off-sites, trade shows: you organise them. You handle internal communication and execute external communication.
4. Support the founders
Travel, expense reports, preparation of funding applications: you free up the founders' time so they can focus on the ship.

Le profil recherché
You have at least 5 years of experience in office management or in a versatile support role, and you enjoy environments where nothing is set in stone yet.
· Your organisational skills and reliability let you handle this month's payroll and next quarter's off-site side by side, without dropping anything.
· You are autonomous. No one will be waiting for you with a procedure: more often than not, you will be the one writing it.
· You are discreet and know what can be shared and what cannot.
· Your good mood is contagious, and your open-mindedness makes you a reference point for a team with very varied profiles.
· AI is one of your everyday tools, to save time and make your work more reliable.
· You speak fluent French and English: the team works in English, the administration is done in French.
This part-time role is designed to fit with a full personal life. It can also be a great way back after a career break or a period abroad.
Above all, and this is the founders' first criterion, you are passionate. About what? It does not matter, as long as it is genuine. Curious in life as in your work, you enjoy learning from the people around you, and you come with solutions rather than problems.
Joining CIRCEO means being at the heart of a team in the making, and seeing the direct effect of your work on the people in it. It also means shaping, from day one, the culture of a company setting out to open a new territory.
