Freelance Event Management Team Lead H/F - LittleBig Connection (part of Mantu)

What they need

As part of the development of its digital communications and corporate events activities, an international organization is looking for a Freelance Event Management Team Lead to strengthen its French operations.

The organization supports companies and institutions in the design and delivery of webcasts, virtual conferences, hybrid events and live broadcasts. Projects may include financial presentations, investor communications, internal events, ESG updates and large-scale corporate events.

The assignment is based in Paris, with close collaboration with teams and stakeholders located across Europe.

Mission and expected deliverables

The consultant will act as the Event Management lead in France and will be responsible for the operational and technical quality of the events delivered.

The main responsibilities will include:

• preparing, configuring and operating live, recorded, virtual and hybrid events;

• managing webcast platforms, streaming solutions, network connectivity and technical integrations;

• monitoring live events and resolving technical incidents quickly;

• advising clients on appropriate event formats and technical solutions;

• translating communication objectives into efficient operational setups;

• coordinating internal teams, suppliers and audiovisual partners;

• managing a portfolio of corporate clients and ensuring a high level of service quality;

• leading an international team of 3 to 4 Event Managers;

• organizing schedules, rotations and resource allocation;

• supporting team development and knowledge sharing;

• implementing process improvements and contributing to production standards;

• participating in local and international projects related to digital events.

Profile wanted

Required skills and experience

• At least 4 years of experience in event management, audiovisual production, webcasting or digital events;

• hands-on experience in the preparation and delivery of live events;

• good understanding of streaming workflows, webcast platforms and network connectivity;

• ability to diagnose and resolve technical incidents in real time;

• experience managing corporate clients and stakeholders;

• ability to translate business needs into effective technical and operational solutions;

• previous experience managing or coordinating teams;

• excellent organizational, communication and prioritization skills;

• proactive, client-focused and solution-oriented mindset;

• fluent French and English.
